Ruth Myers is a wonderful blessing! I ordered this book based on my happiness with Thirty One Days of Praise. While I don't use this one quite as much, it is a great addition to my quiet time.
An excellent start for those who want their prayer life to extend beyond praying for "me and mine." Also, great for new believers who are trying to get started in their prayer relationship with our wonderful Lord. Each day's selection includes scriptures referenced in that prayer, so it could be used as a devotional taking one into the Word as well. I will keep this little book and use it several times.

Loved this book! So helpful to thinking of things to pray about and very scriptural.
The book begins with an introduction to get readers off to a good start, telling them what to expect and how to best benefit from the book. It then presents 31 calls to prayer, each with a Scriptural base, to help readers employ the truth of God's word to call on Him for various needs and issues. This is definitely a book one can return to again and again, and find it newly-beneficial each time.
I love the original format, but this is even better. I like to look up all the verses that Ruth Myers quotes or suggests, and this gives me room to make notes about those verses.
Always good to be inspired.
