kindle version poorly renders figures and equations (on Samsung Galaxy Note),but textbook itself is 5-star excellent.
As a current PhD student researching mitochondria, this is a great resource for background knowledge. I highly recommend this text and think it is worth the price.

A great help
Yowza, the info in this text was difficult to read. I enjoy this subject greatly but, for me and the way I think, this text was not helpful in understanding how the cell manages energy.
